ACCES 18th Annual Conference

May 8-10, 2013 Saint John., New Brunswick

The Atlantic Canada Clinical Engineering Society (ACCES) is proud to announce that the dates for the 18th Annual Clinical Engineering Conference are from May 8th to May 10th, 2013. We are also excited that for the first time in its history the conference is being held in Saint John, New Brunswick.

This year’s theme is “Clinical Engineering, Built on a Strong Foundation!”. Past attendees of the ACCES annual conferences know that it’s 3 days of valuable educational sessions, insightful seminars and industry leaders brought together all in one place. You will be able to attend any of the dozens of concurrent sessions organized in 3 streams of education. The first stream being “The Basics”, it will concentrate on the safety and security of equipment for patients and coworkers, efficient corrections and equipment management. The second is “Leadership”, it will focus on building our careers into more senior technical roles by providing leadership development sessions to mentors, team leads, supervisors and managers. The third stream, “The Science Behind the Technology”, will serve to strengthen our in depth understanding of how technology shapes the equipment we maintain.
