Past attendees of the ACCES annual conferences know that it’s 3 days of valuable educational sessions, insightful seminars and industry leaders brought together all in one place. You will be able to attend any of the concurrent sessions organized in 3 streams of education. The “Leadership” stream is designed for those interested in expanding their role and knowledge into some of the more specialized areas Clinical/Biomedical Engineering. The “Safety, Technology and Standards” stream is focused on the standards and safety considerations for technologies that pose a higher safety risk for both patients and staff. The “CBET Exam Prep.” stream provides a series of seminars tailored to augment the studies of those preparing to write the CBET exam. In addition to the CBET preparation seminars, ACCES will be facilitating the writing of the CBET Exam on Friday June 13th. This series is also well suited for general interest as well as refresher training.
We are excited to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Mark Black who is a heart and double lung transplant turned 4 time Marathon Runner, Bestselling Author, Life-Coach and motivational speaker.
This year’s trade expo will feature 34 vendor booths from a wide range of health care technology providers. The vendor hall will be open the evening of the 11th and all day on the 12th which gives ample time to meet and discuss the latest technology from our vendor community.
The evening Banquet which will be held at Fisherman’s Wharf Restaurant in North Rustico PEI will include a Lobster Dinner and Kitchen Party along with a fund raising event to help support the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Pediatric department. Remember the Banquet is included in the all-conference pass and it’s a great opportunity to socialize with your industry peers.
Each year ACCES volunteers strive to bring together a first class conference offering top notch educational sessions and an opportunity to see the latest technology in the vendor showcase, and to do it all at the low cost for attendees at $200/attendee.
